Black, white and grey
Upon the screen
I worked like any other day
Minding my own business
Yet you decided
About time to start
Upon this odd crusade
And thus a headcount was made
Not knowing at all
What was happening
I went my merry way
Then he asked if I was ok
Thus I learned
Off this strange plot
That was thrown upon my way
Oh, what despair, oh what dismay
But there was nothing definite
Your plans had failed, I’m told
An idea in disarray
And I’m saved for yet another day.
I’ve forgiven, not forgotten
Moved on, held my head up high
Inspite of all the talk
And that sign-up petition ended on a sour note.
